Why We love La Paz

This is a 10.5mb wmv file. Will open in Windows Media Player.

La Paz

Just want to say "Thanks" for all the info I've gathered lurking on this site. Wish I had studied it a bit more before buying gas at the PEMEX in Santa Rosalia!

That was FANTASTIC! What a great way to get a Baja fix right away... how does one put something like that together.
Always love visiting La Paz... Very enjoyable!
Muchas Gracias!

Excelente!! Please do not provide this video short to the travel agencies. We who live here have tried to keep La Paz a secret. Gee, at least you did not show Applebee's!:D

Thanks for the comments

I was afraid it was too much like having friends over to watch endless movies of our vacation.

Paula - don't know why the pics won't show on your computer. Did you try resizing from regular screen to full screen and back again?

cabobaja - didn't put the Applebee's photo in but we broke down and went there to get a salad fix.

Thank you BMG!!! La Paz has been my home away from home for so many years now, and I'm really missing her at the moment. Your little movie brought tears of joy to my eyes.

It's obvious you had a wonderful trip. I hope you are fortunate enough to return for many more.

Paula, are you trying to play the video on a MAC? I tried too. WMF opened. The screen appeared with a box that said, "this file may not play correctly because it was compressed by using a codec that is not supported." Not only did it not play correctly.......it did not play at all.

I have always used PCs and rarely have problems. Don't know why I bought a MAC laptop. The packaging is cute (a word I dislike), I guess. I needed a wireless laptop for the road and it doesn't do anything. The HELP is inadequate for explaining how to do anything. I know, some here will disagree. Fine! I'll trade it for a PC wireless laptop; within two years old.

Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing the video. I will take my MAC off line and hook up my 6 year old PC desktop. It will do anything I ask, except do the dishes.
Hey:light: Maybe I'll toss the MAC in the soapy dishwater and let it gurgle.....that's something.

Sorry for getting off subject. If anyone can enlighten us as to how to correct this specific MAC transgression,OK, but maybe we shouldn't let this MAC vs PC go any further in this string. If we want to pursue it, we could start a new topic.

Nope.......my PC WMF won't play it either. Says I need to download a WMF codec. What is it? I have never had a problem with any WMF playing before.

I know there are others who know what a codec is and why it is needed. Is this something brand new, or is it something so obscure that, if I download it for this video I will never have a need for it again?
