Temporary Export Permit

Hola Nomads,

We are in the Mulege area and need to take a propane generator back to the States for repair. We would like to get a temporary export permit so we can bring it back down without any problems We do not have an import permit for the generator. Does anyone know if we can do this at Tecate... Also has anyone actually done this before and what are the steps.

Gracias,

Kathy

They want to see the paper where you paid the import duty when it was brought into Mexico the first time.
