Strongest Man in Baja

We spent last weekend in San Felipe. It lacked the adventure to warrant a trip report but it was a fun weekend introducing a Massachusetts sister-in-law to the Sea of Cortez. There was plenty of entertainment on the beach. One clown nearly drowned himself while launching his waverunner requiring an ambulance to back down the beach. He was very shaken up but OK.

Here is a series of photos of the strongest man in Baja in front of El Cortez Hotel -

What a brave soul that man is, at least he got a "little feel", ok, a lot!

Really there should be a law, if you cannot get in and out of a boat, especially on shore, you shouldn't be allowed!

Kind of like with motorcycles/ATV's, if you can't start em, you can't ride em'!

Haven't had a bad trip yet....

Thank goodness he was there to help get her off the beach !
I have heard so many sad tales of beached whales dying on the shore....

That poor girl. You have to feel bad for her.

The skipper of that skiff could've saved himself a lot of work had he stood the young lady in the bow and hit the beach at 40 mph, launching her to the life-guard stand. But, then again, maybe BajaWarrior was right.

It WAS a very funny scene. The husband missed the show. He was the one behind the panga. All jokes aside, they were having a blast. The skipper earned his money that day.

He's acting benevolent now, but he'll be back to take her tonight.

Just didn't want Greenpeace his friends to see.

That really works? I'll have to try next time I find the boat a little overlaoded.

Overweight women sure are easy targets for the bad and rather tasteless jokes. :fire:

Diane, and yes I am quite overweight.
