New boat

Our boat is here:

23' Van-Diaz Panga.

We are waiting for insurance, but mostly for the ramp. We don't want to beach launch it our first time. I talked to one of the ramp construction workers this morning (Friday) and he said it will open when API decides to open it. His guess: one to three days.

Looks like an "H" top, rather than a "T" top, huh, Don?

Beautiful color; I love blue hulls. Is the interior blue or white?

Nice! I have a '93 model from him. I thought I saw a speck of dust on yours, I'll bet Pam threw it in there.

"Taco Wagon" says, "Lupe build me four years ago. I was the second hull out of the new mold. My owners love me because I'm dry, fast and pretty as the day I was born. I've worked very hard at teaching my owner how to fish." Harry, the owner, says you'll love your boat. That one is his fourth Dias boat. I have his third one. Have fun! Russ

Don,

After our U2U's, I went over to Lupe's to see it. Neither he or his son were there to ask about ownership. Turns out it WAS the best looking. Much nicer than the whites or blacks.

Bueno suerte & get some blood on the deck ASAP.

Don

Congratulations! It's a beauty.

I can understand you not wanting to launch it from the beach the first time. After it breaks its maidenhead, you will love the capability of pangas to launch from the beach and also land on a beach. I do it all the time. Here are some photos of my well used panga (I'm not a cop but the former owner was):
