'jet ski' rentals...

Hi there - I'm driving down to Sta. Rosalia on Friday from north LA - I5 corridor area - does anyone know of a place where I can rent a pair of 'jet skis' - wave runners, pwc, the sit on top style - with a trailer for a week that will let me take them to Mexico? Thanks!!

not likely you'll find anyone that will rent them to you and allow you to haul them across the border. you may find someone here when you arrive that will rent them to you but it will be expensive.

Ahh yes ......Jet-Skis
Such pleasant little things. They fit so well into the tranquil setting of the ocean's edge, buzzing about like hummingbirds in a flower garden, giving refreshed meaning to the blended symbiosis between man and nature which has left the Baja Penninsula pristine, as though it has just left the hand of it's maker.
And, the melody of song which they blend in harmony with the gentle rhythm of small waves caressing the beach is cathartic. Soothing and refreshing. It brings the beauty of life to a real and accessible place in the mind.
Yeah..... That's what jet-skis do. They do it about as well as a pack of unleashed, blood-trained Pit Bulls.
Why would anybody think these things could fit in anywhere that the beach loving people congregate? Do you ever see people who are looking for a quiet place to relax, sitting in a chair fifty feet from a motocross in progress?
No. You don't.
Why? Because it's loud and it's dangerous and it smells like a greasy old gas station.
Jet Skis should be banned or, at least, traded in for sail boats. Nice, quiet sail boats.
Those who have a need to go fast and endanger the well-being of others should save it for the freeways.

Jet Ski Delinquency

For the most part, Jet Skis and their progeny don't belong in other than isolated waters. When combined with other vessels and people enjoying the water, they tend to become the equivalent of Outlaw Bikers. People using the machines seem to believe it is incumbent upon them to irritate everyone else. I haven't witnessed a single instance in which the riders acted with courtesy and concern for others sharing the water, but I have frequently witnessed the opposite.

Prior to going on a big game safari hunt, they should make good target practice.:P:P;);)

Most ATVs around here respect the beach, desert, and residential areas. A few don't and are told in short order. Most of those bandit riders are from the north and have no manners. Non any business in BCS. Oh, Dennis jet ski and a Big drum set belong it the same place?

Nope. No way. No jet skis on my front porches next to Divers house in Asunción. Just drums. Big, loud drums. Lots of'em. The ones that sound best in the middle of the night. You ever heard those?
Russ.....Where do you live?

Have drums --- Will travel

Very Good Reply Dennis.....Right On!!! If people need this type of stimulation they need to go to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. There they can co-mingle with oter types like themselves. There is nothing in this world as obnoxious and stupid and as disrepectful as jet ski energy. I agree with Vandy, good target practice. ++C++

I'm with the rest of the gang here-- get a new hobby!!!!! Kayaking is good, slow down, relax, think about the world around you, and try to blend in. It'll be nice.
