Boat explosion in La Paz?

Has anyone heard anything about a boat explosion in La Paz? My neighbor works for one of those tuna farmers out there by Pinchilingue and I just heard he was severely burned in an explosion but I don't know anymore than that.

Also in La Paz...... A mysterious death???? A singlehanded englishman was found attacked and murderd aboard his vessel a Westsail 32. It was discovered by some fisherman 15 miles N. of La Paz, laying on a beach, and aground. The man was a respected airplane mechanic and member of the cruising community in and around La Paz. A 40 yo clean cut type. Anyone have any info. on this as well? So sorry to hear of these tradgedys. ++C++

Concensus seems to be among cruisers that it was a suicide.
