I've missed those also. Which Checkpoint were these at?
We have been impressed with the landscaping though. The CP on the mesa north of El Rosario is our favorite.

I found the mystery location of these desert puppies a few days ago- they're on the inland side of the hwy at the Tomatal turnoff checkpoint . (North
of g. Negro, South of S. Rosalillita)
