Your ticket to identity theft

Please read then see my comment below:

I believe a much better idea on how to 'make' money............send all of the tickets, thousands, that Mexicans citizens receive in California (Alta) to Baja California for collection. Offer them 90% and hope for the 10%............realizing that justice would be done either way!:biggrin::biggrin:

What struck me as the dumbest part of this process is the paper tickets and subsequent scanning to get soft copy. The cops should just have small computers to write the ticket with a small printer to give the offender a hard copy. That would eliminate the need to have people involved to get the info into the county's systems.

Or did I miss something?

I live in Orange County and saw this story when it came out, and I am continually astouonded at the poor choices make by the MBNA driven managers that run most of Amerika today.... even if there were no problem with security it is really bad PR to use this system. Here again are bureaucrats and policy setters not representing the wishes, nor understanding the sensitivities of the public.

Also if you do that rolling stop in Orange County and others to come, be prepared for a ticket. Cameras are being installed at non-light intersections to ticket rolling stops. Have you noticed that not many drivers stop at the metering line, most roll into the crosswalk area... which is a nightmare if you are a pedestrian. I say go get 'em.

Just got carried away by something that has always been a frightening experience (as a pedestrian) and over which I have no control in either country. - CaboRon
