Bringing mounts to Baja

Has anyone out there had any experience with bringing mounts into Baja? I have a whitetail, pheasant and Bufflehead I would eventually like to bring down. Just wondering if it would be a problem.

Ok OK If I had said stuffed mounts I might be talking about some of your wives. How about trophy mounts or dead animal mounts.

Can't resist...
An old lady was grief-stricken when her pair of pet monkeys of many years died almost simultaneously. As she could not bear the thought of parting with them, she decided to take them to a taxidermist instead of burying them. As she placed the box with the dead monkeys on the counter, she was overcome with sobbing and could hardly speak. The sympathetic taxidermist gently inquired, "Yes Madam, you would like them mounted?"
"Oh no!", sobbed the lady, "Just shaking hands will be fine."

Seriously, it's doubtful any Mexican officials would care. They didn't care about the pair of live squirrel monkeys that accompanied us years ago. But, I would check with US Customs if you plan to take them back into the US someday. I had a Ringneck mounted in SLRC a few years ago and brought it back under a pile of clothes etc. and forgot to mention it. I wasn't sure it was a problem or not, just didn't want to make a big deal out of it.

All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.
