Or to "out" hidden regions on the WWW.
I wouldn't drain on such a toad if he caught fire.

My take on that is if the U2U follows the rules of ethics (as in civilized), since privacy is an issue of civilized society, then yes it is only
proper to keep it private/civil. However, when that U2U goes outside being ethical and civil, for example it is verbally abusive, coercive and
personally threatening, then the recipient is not bound to keep it private. On the contrary, in fact, just as an example, it should be brought to
civil authority (maybe the moderator of this board) or to a LE officer.
When we use electronic means of communication that we don't own (in this case Bajanomad's U2U), we cannot technically call it private (we don't own =
not private). That's how I view it. Therefore, when I send a U2U in Bajanomad, to me it is a given that my "private" message could be divulged to
anyone later, since I don't own this site and have no control of it.
U2U senders beware, if you're concerned about privacy.

I dont have a clue what Soulpatch is talking about in particular, BUT I have considered recently suggesting that these personal attacks that pop up in
the middle of threads would be better handled through U2U's. Most of the time the rest of us couldnt care less what you(that is the impersonal you
not any one in particular) think of another board member. If you have a problem, take it to U2U and duke it out there.
So I think that I agree with Soulpatch

You started a new thread here that could have been more productive for you and for us readers, if you hadn't been so cryptic. We were
left to wonder and speculate as to what specifically you were talking about. Fortunately edm1 made reference to another thread that he supposes you
are referring to.
Regarding that thread, I knew it would involve a lot of time looking at photos, so I put it off until a later time. Consequently I and others were
clueless as to what your rant was trying to accomplish.
My point is, you had the opportunity to get your point across and you blew it........sounding like..........well...........kinda like a bad dream.

Well, I thought it was pretty obvious who and what he was talking about.
Anyway, what part of YOU to YOU dont people understand? It's not U-2-US.
I keep mine private and expect the same courtesy. If that fails me, I guess I will reconsider my rules of engagement.
I've never seen a lightning rod quite like DK on any site.............sometimes it's not even his fault. But, man, what a lightning rod.
