A question for those of you who got citizenship in baja

I have been advised to go to Mexico city to do this process...I heard that doing it through the La Paz office is not a good idea....that your case just doesn't go anywhere...takes forever etc. My question is...is there anyone on this board who has actually GOT their nacionalization through that office with no problems???

Shari

Yes I know people that have gotten their citizenship here in La Paz, I also know of 1 person still waiting over a year. Ours has been in since feb. this year, we know it went to DF because it came back to correct some mistakes. But as of this date no more news but I don't go in and bug them like the person that has been waiting over a year. Since I don't bother them they came to my house to get everything corrected.

Sheri, I know three people here went through a guy in Mexico to get their citizenship. One will be here this weekend. If you want I could get the info for you, or u2u you their phone number after they arrive. It was easy. Just a trip there, he picks you up and takes you around to where ever and puts you on a plane the afternoon to return. This is all this guy does and he knows all the right people. No waiting in line either. My friends were totally impressed. Oh, and about six months later you do the same routine and pickup your Mexican passport. Let me know.

It sounds like the same guy our amigos talk about but would be good to check if it is him and what his price is...it is out of my price range but it sounds like it's the way to go. Thanks for that Russ.
