Couple interesting items from F & W magazine

The October issue of Food and Wine magazine features another "tour" of the Guadalupe Valley wine country. I cant say I learned much that was new except two things:

1-there is supposedly a very good farmer's market at Mogor-Baden on Wednesday mornings and that the hosts make some killer breads and calzones for sale.

2-a restaurant in Ensenada called Manzanillo is supposedly the hip-hangout for the winery owners in Guad. Word is they have great seafood. Anyone ever been there?

Hook,

Haven't been there yet but I have heard very good reports of the restaurant aswell. As I remember they are a young couple from Mexico City. Tried to catch a lunch there recently but they were only open for dinner. It is near Hussongs. Will offer up a report when we go.
