Taking Appliances into Mexico

Our home is almost done and I need to drive across some used appliances. I paid less than $1000 for a washer dryer como, dish washer, gas range and Refrigerator.

Is it better to take the Refer and Stove and then bring the other stuff later? or if I bring everything, what will they need to figure out the tax?

Thanks
JV

Type or write a legible receipt. List the value of each item and total, keep it under $1000.

Drive into the Declaration lane. They figure about 17% of the value. But that has varied in the past. The staff in Declaration do the paperwork and send you to the bank window, go back to Declaration, they stamp it, and your on your way.

Haven't had a bad trip yet....
