portable office to baja

I am wanting to bring a portable office down to Asuncion to put on my property. It is 8 x 24. I am going to tell the border that it is my camp trailer. Has anyone tried this? What would be the worst case scenario if they made me pay tax on it?

What's a portable office? Is it full of portable office equipment? The size is travel trailer size so, that's not a problem. The contents may be. What's in there?

By the way, welcome to BajaNomad.

A portable office is usually a trailer that has wood siding on it, a few windows and a door, if your lucky, AC.

Fill the trailer with beach chairs, coolers, surfboards, firewood, bedding, etc, etc... just like your going camping. Bring a buddy=more stuff.

Haven't had a bad trip yet....
