Aluminum welder in La Paz

My Gegor aluminum boat has developed a crack in a weld along the chine. Can anyone recommend a skilled welder who can repair aluminum in La Paz? I'm fairly familiar with La Paz, so a name and general directions or land marks will do. Thanks for the help.

Not being there now, I hope obscure directions help...The VW repair place just up from Marina de La Paz has a good reputation for aluminum repair. This guy does VW bugs, vans, etc. Also another welder is in the same area. There is also the "Pepsi Plant" which is up near Soriana. Get down to the Marina, there is a public use VHF radio at the clubhouse. At 8 AM every morning except Sunday there is a cruiser net. You can ask questions on the net and get many answers, very specific if you want. Lots of aluminum on some boats that get welded in La Paz.

There is a great welder I have used to braize the inside of an aluminum outboard shaft. I got directions to his place from Hector at his boat repair yard on the main malecon drag (a few block south of Los Arcos and the malecon). His shop is on the corner with a boat dealer next door.
The welder charged me $20 for same day service - I was amazed !
Please say hi to Hector for me - his english is good.

I will taking the boat to La Paz on Friday morning, so directions would be appreciated, thanks. I remember someone talking about a fellow who does great welding work from his wheel chair.
