Creative Writing Sub Forum

I know you guys need another forum like a hole in the head, BUT I would love to see a forum where I would feel comfortable posting and reading creative writing on Baja/Mexican subjects. This could present a place for folks such as Osprey, Paulina, Eli, myself, to name only a few, to express ourselves without confusing folks as to what the purpose of the post is. People not wishing to “waste” time on something that is not relevant to General Baja Discussion could just skip it. Others would not get upset because they think it is something serious that needs discussion. There would not be the “liar” attacks that can result, or at least fewer.

Just an idea. Perhaps it has been suggested before. I have not felt the “Baja Historic Interests & Literature” forum quite fits, since who is to say what I’ve written is “literature”?

Thanks for the consideration …

Gnome Ad,
I think we are barking up the wrong Dogwood tree. :(

Gnome Ad's post stood alone for almost 24 hours so that is why I arfed my post. Since then, Doug and several others have responded. Thank you all for your interest. It could be fun.
No pressure, Doug. We can only imagine how busy you must be.:D

I think it is a good option. I never felt I really belonged on general discussion as sometimes I am so far off Baja but Nomads feels like home and I am comfortable writing here and there are a few people on Nomads that seem to get my stuff and always encourage me to write more, so once and a while I do.

I love the idea, it would bring other writers to present their works and if it has it's own subforum, only those who like literature will tune in...and those just wanting info and to ask questions will not waste theri time opening forums of poetic nature! I support this.

Have been busy for a few days and leaving soon for el norte so I won't be posting for a while. Will try and check in occasionally. Thanks to those who showed some interest here. Thought it was worth a try.

Have a safe trip. You never know, Doug may have a surprise for you when you return! I would find the catagory very useful.

A creative writing section would be great. Presently, I've been posting occasionally on www.noozit.com and would certainly be encouraged to present here.
