Bobs good for it. I brought him down 25lbs of diatamacious earth for his pool and he paid me, and gave me all the Pacifico's I could drink, and that is a lot.

Good thing I never got inspected though. The stuff looked just like, well illegal stuff.

I found out the hard way a few weeks ago about these lights. I had some packed but couldn't find them so off to the store I went in Asuncion. I bought 4 bulbs for 150 pesos. I can buy the same ones at my local store in San Diego for $1.99. Needless to say, I've been stocking up.

I'll be in Asuncion beginning next week and will have a large supply if you want to drive up.

Zac

Check waldo's or Solo un precia in Ensenada. They almost always have them for a buck a piece.

Bob, anyone in Ensenada can put stuff on the ABC bus for you, and they will leave it at the bus station in Mulege. They tell the person dropping it off what bus it will be on, then they can tell you, so you can meet the bus.

By the way Bob and Babe, thanks for bringing the things down for my Sister in Law. If you looked in the box, We didn't intend to send our new beach towels. The other stuff yes.

Can you wait until January Bob?

Any idea how much "a good deal" is in Ensenada and I can comparative shop for you up here and bring you some if you can wait (in the dark).

You don't see the higher (25 watt) bulbs very often in the 4 packs but the 13-18 watts are around in 4-8 packs all the time. I paid $10 a couple of months ago for a 4 pack of the newer 4½" mini-spiral 23 watt (100w equivalent), and that was the best price I'd seen. Often you can only find them individually.

Someone in San Felipe told me that US bulbs dont work in Mexico???
It doesnt sound correct to me, but thought I would ask the experts. I need 30 bulbs and the price in Mexicali was HIGH compared to US pricing

I am not going out to look at my stash now(receipt), but I bought 3/ 10 packs for $2.84 each pack...I think your Mexican prices are a little high...and I just seen an ad by PG&E that they are giving all you need for free.:o:P:lol:

Not all compact bulbs are the same, make sure you get daylight, instead of cool white, almost twice as bright.

Older style daylight fluorescent bulbs when lit will have a markedly bluish cast to them...
they are harsh on the eyes
you would need these in a study

warm white bulbs will have a yellow-red cast
they are easy on the eyes at night like you'd need in a livingroom
