Where can I get good carnitas at?

I go to Baja every year on a dirt bike to Mulege and back with a group of friends. We used to go to Asadero(sp) Ramon in Mulege for carnitas, unfortunately he passed away and the location was taken over by Donny who only serves carnitas there on Saturdays, we tend to be in Mulege on Tuesday and Wednesday. We went to the pig roast at the Serinidad one year on a Saturday and it was light on pig for the price. We do a loop down the Sea of Cortez side and back up the West coast side. Any recommendations would be appriciated. Thanks for your help.

Everybody seems to agree that Dos Hermanos is a great place for Carnitas! It's just south of Ensenada on the right side before the Estero Beach turnoff.

Yeah, the new road widening really messed with Dos Hermanos. Still great though. Unfortuantely, Bent-rim is looking for a place in Mulege.

The major burgs we hit are Valley T, Mikes, San Felipe, BOLA, San Ignacio, Mulege, Guerrero Negro, Catavina, El Rosario and San Vicente.

Man, you going to make me go through my pictures again?

Big yellow and red sign, on the right, as you head south out of town towards Cabo.

Barajas is the place to go for Carnitas in Chametla which is just before La Paz on the right side of Hwy. this is the original Barajas, also going out of La Paz on Hwy 1 to the south on the right hand side where its 4 lane. And of course Todos Santos.

There is always Las Flors de Michoacan in Rosarito Beach and a guy in San Quintin on the west side of the road that cooks right out in the dirt in a large copper pot, stires with an oar.

In Guerrero Negro - going in to town, just before the Pemex on the right hand side is a carnitas place, Michoacan style, that is absolutely outstanding! We stop by there every chance we get.
