Three amigos get some tail in San Roque

The aftermath of the fiesta wears on here in Asuncion and Juan, Bajaboy and Fishbuck set out yesterday for San Roque to do some surf fishing. But when they heard that YT were just a bit north they jumped in our baby panga water taxi and putted north...in about 2 hours they had landed 4 yellowtail, 3 nice calico bass, a bunch of bonita and a couple barracuda. Trouble was, it was dark by the time they had all caught a yellowtail...Fishbuck took his sweet time but finally landed the biggest fish and was a happy camper! I was ready to send out a search party and an amigo of ours DID go looking for them when it got dark...what a pal....but they were just coming in then. So sashimi all round and a nice bottle of zinfandel to celebrate. That bajaboy really is a lucky nomad...he never gets skunked! So the bite is definately on here..today 4 kayakers are trying their luck in San Roque. Weather is still awesome and water warm! Time for the last piece of cake!

Luckily Zoe is brave enough to accompany me. Happy Halloween amigos.

It's both - a generic term for flu/sniffing/coughing/feverish type thing.

I believe the "official" term for flu is influenza.

back to the issue at hand...the kayakers renting our casita in San Roque reported extreme joy at catching yellow tail from the beach right in front of the house as well as from their kayaks. MOre happy nomads getting tail.

Ya, Bajaboy is lucky alright. He caught about 10 fish before I finally caught a calico. He was ready to go home but Juan kept fishing for me and I finally caught my yellowtail as it was getting dark. It was a perfect way to end the fishing trip.
I wish I was still there fishing off the beach for the yellows!
