Weekend getaway in SJD or Cabo
Friends looking for a weekend away from TS and need dog friendly accomodation. Any suggestions? A couple with 8 yr old daughter. I would think that beach and or pool would be required!!
Remember, when in Mexico, yes may be no and no may be
maybe!

I cannot think of a single place that meets all your requirements. The dog friendly is problematic. I will be curious to see what others come up
with.
Cabo Surf might be an option but I couldnt find anything on their website about dogs..

Hard to come by, with dog.
Try Camp Cabo, ask Martin for one of his cabanas. We stayed there a few times. it's not the Hilton, but at about 50 bucks a night what can you expect
in Cabo? It's walking distance to Artisana and he has a nice pool and hot-tub.
The grass is always greener....
and so, there is always a better spot in Baja

I thought of that too but it is a hike to the beach....can you walk down the arroyo to the beach? Probably a half mile or so to the beach.

Yes it is a bit of a hike. Bring a bike, or just hang around the pool. Actually, when we are there, we always go early in the morning, 8.30 or so to
one of the snorkel beaches. Chileno, or S.Maria. Until the crowds come out, which doesn't take long, back to Camp Cabo, shower off and dip in the pool
again until check-out.

Cabo Surf is a great place but can't even imagine them taking dogs. Why don't you get a dog-sitter For the weekend? If you could , Cabo Surf is a
family friendly place, really nice pool and on the beach.Pricey, but food is good and the restaurant is perched above the beach where you can watch
the surfers.
Happiness is just a Baja memory away...

Yup.. know Cabo Surf well (as do amigos looking for suggestions) and I agree, probably not a place for dogs. The reason for bringing the dog is
because she is a new addition to the family so they were hoping to bring her along to limit the recent changes she has experienced.
Thanks Leo... will pass the suggestion on and see if anything else comes along.
Judy... if you do not know of anything... probably not much available. I'm thinking I should offer to "dog sit" but just cleaned up the broken maceta
my 2 mexicans just knocked off the deck Not sure I can cope with another one for 3 days!!
