Baja Travel journal

We are getting ready to cross this Friday, and will try to keep a log with pictures along the way. Here is the link.
http://www.mytripjournal.com/baja
Rather than take up bandwidth here, we just created a link for people to keep in touch with us.

Hope to see some of the fellow board members along the way.
;D

Tomorrow is the day of the crossing...I will attempt to get all the pictures I can and will be posting them by the end of the evening. I will list the campgrounds or areas, so people can get an idea of what to expect. Estero beach, will be the first stop.

OK,

What was the "gentleman's agreement" you worked out in Ensenada??? Did it cost you for him running into the back of you?

Looked like a nasty mudslide----keep up the pictures

They freely admitted that they were the responsible for the damage. And the asked what I would settle for to fix the damage. After assessing the damage, I figured about $700 would do the repairs and get me on the road. No problemo....7700 pesos and I was down the road.

Close up of damage

A 2x4 and a half sheet of diamond tread, and a set of tail lights, ought to do the trick..

My temporary fix

This should hold until Las Barriles. Looking like a true baja rig now. Taken at Santispac beach

Yeah..the roaming pack of attack Chihuahuas is quite a sight there on the beach. 5 Chihuahuas and a Boston Terrier, is how we keep all the 'banditos' away.
