mulege yellowtail tournament


The Bomberos de Mulege have taken over the sponsorship of the local non-profit fishing tournaments in Mulege. The first annual Marty Robison Memorial Yellowtail Tournament will take place as scheduled on the 25th & 26th of this month. As always the anglers meeting to be held the day before on the 24th at Bart’s, Jungle Jims with the Banquet following on the 27th. Tickets are available at Claudia & Miguel’s “La Tienda” at a cost of 350 pesos with Banquet only tickets also available at a cost of 80 pesos.
Also there will be a 1 day free kids tournament (5 thru 16 yrs old) on the 26th with prizes for the biggest fish caught from the shore.
The majority of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the local Mulege Children’s Scholarship Program, Bomberos de Mulege Fishing Tournaments will also support other local charitable needs such as the Rotary & Local Emergency Services.
So get your tickets for this event and join in on the fun at the same time providing much needed support for the local community.

Marty Robison, a huge supporter of the Mulege community, was taken from us in a car accident on May 20th, 2007 between Mulege & Loreto.

my NEW computer CRASHED just before this tourney so have not been able to post (just got my old computer back). yes all the results are on the web site mike. i should have my other computer back up in a few days. with the support we got from "BALLYHOOD" & "MIRROLURES" the tourney and banquet was one of the best ever, not to mention all the local support. really looking forward to the dorado tourney end of may !

the bite has been a little slow locally have seen a few caught, but at san marcos hitting em pretty hard. i suspect the bite will pick up when the #*@#! shrimpers leave. :fire::fire:

sorry mike, the date is wrong on the site. the 2007 winners are the 2008 winners . would fix it now but headed out the door fishing. maybe the ladies will catch it, if not as soon as i get done cleaning all those yellowtail i will change it .
