mulege yellowtail tournament
The Bomberos de Mulege have taken over the sponsorship of the local non-profit fishing tournaments in Mulege. The first annual Marty Robison Memorial
Yellowtail Tournament will take place as scheduled on the 25th & 26th of this month. As always the anglers meeting to be held the day before on
the 24th at Bart’s, Jungle Jims with the Banquet following on the 27th. Tickets are available at Claudia & Miguel’s “La Tienda” at a cost of 350
pesos with Banquet only tickets also available at a cost of 80 pesos.
Also there will be a 1 day free kids tournament (5 thru 16 yrs old) on the 26th with prizes for the biggest fish caught from the shore.
The majority of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the local Mulege Children’s Scholarship Program, Bomberos de Mulege Fishing
Tournaments will also support other local charitable needs such as the Rotary & Local Emergency Services.
So get your tickets for this event and join in on the fun at the same time providing much needed support for the local community.
For details on the tournament log on to , http://www.mulegefishingtournaments.com .
Marty Robison, a huge supporter of the Mulege community, was taken from us in a car accident on May 20th, 2007 between Mulege & Loreto.

Is this next yellowtail tournament in Mulege on the January 23/24, 2009 or January 30, 31, 2009?
I've seen conflicting reports.
