Now that is an interesting twist.... have you asked immigration about this.... you might have to be married and list her as a dependent.

a marriage certificate would probably work a heck of a lot better...
have never heard of such a letter, have you actually contacted migracion about this?

reality\'s never been of much use out here...

It would be best to simply bring copies of some bank statements for her since its required. Get it? They need three bank statements or each individual. If not the jefe will have to sign off officially that she doesn't need it and that moment of review happens often only once a week and may require an interview. You see how complicated you are making this request for exemption?

The amount of money in the account is less important than the fact that she has the required three months of statements, while you can demonstrate greater financial support through your statements which should exceed 600 per month or more than 1800 for a three month visit.

This doesn't need to be justified in the letter for renewel or stated unless demanded since it will be obvious that the man is supporting the woman, as expected, in this case. But if you want to draw attention to the fact that she has no money and you will support her it could be construed badly, that is, that she doesn't meet the stated qualifications of having an account and money to live.

It would be easiest to simply add her name to your account statements... officially or unofficially or get a rich girlfriend jajajaja.

Perhaps you can u2 the letter to him or he can send you his email and you can email with your names removed. Would be nice to maintain a library of letters here. Though, now the immigraccion office in la paz maintains and provides form letters, if you are polite.
