'06 Baja 1000 pit crew

Baja Nomad 'The Squarecircle' (Roy) took this photo of us waiting for the racers to arrive at EL CRUCERO.

The Squarecircle taped a big list on the side of his 4Runner of all the racers (that were being serviced by Baja Pits) and Baja Pits/ Locos Mocos pit stops.

Our job was to do the communications and messages for Baja Pits... by satellite phone. When a racer passed a previous pit location, and ours we recorded the time on the list.

There was quite a huge crowd at El Crucero, and that list was sure popular...

Roy recently gave me photos to share with you...

No problem,

as I said in the first post, the photos were from The Squarecircle, and he recently gave them to me...

So, I am sharing them with you, just as soon as I could... This Baja Photos forum has no time limitations, so I didn't consider the year of the race to be important.

This last 1000, we weren't even in Baja! See my Northern Arizona pictures...:light:
