Developers bought the whole thing, kicked out all the tenants, reinvented the whole development down to flat pads. The intention is to sell lots, build large custom homes. The beach is/was one of the best in Baja Sur, the view of Palmas Bay spectacular. A new aquaduct from Las Cuevas to Buena Vista may also help this area with the water they need to expand. Yes, it's quite sad to see the place as it is now: a ghost town. Though it wil be more of a shock when they finally bulldoze the whole area and "develope" it. I guess the world needs another golf course.:(
