I guess the new ones, what have you heard?
The reporters really don't know much, said they were sending someone to Mogote but yes a huge clowd of dust can still be visible from the malecon.

Oh my gosh, this can't be good. I wonder how many people were working on those buildings when they fell. I knew that building on that sand was not a good idea.

They're fine, I don't know much about La Paz but they said something about it being on an island or peninsula?

Yes, it is kind of a peninsula. I just talked on the phone with a friend that lives close to the Malecon and he sais that the buildings just all of the sudden fell and that there is a lot of traffic on the malecon full of people looking at this catastrophe

If it's the new buildings, in a way it's better now than when the were full of people living there.

I could care less about the buildings David but I am worried about the people. Have you been there lately?

There have been rumors of these buildings sinking for several months now....... they are building highrises on a sandbar ....... was there any serious engineering done before construction started ?

I was looking, searching(never had any luck with that) for the recent pix of those buildings that someone had posted.
Maybe someone with better searching skills can find them
