January 07, First day of school cancelled

First day of school in Baja California tomorrow, Jan 07 and it has been cancelled for the municipalities of Tijuana and Rosarito at all levels, from preschool to university.
Civil Protection and the state Secretary of Education called school of for Monday because of recent weather conditions and said to stay informed to know when school will resume again.
Gotta love it. Viva México

Just how much rain did you get down there from this storm?

Most areas in the LA Basin not affected by any orographics (cloud squeezing from elevation gain) generally got less than an inch/day over the three days.

My rain guage in Rosarito says we got 3.74" total this storm so far. Not much sand left on the beach either from the combination of storm water runoff and the high surf.
