There must be a pongero down on the beach somewhere there you could ask.

Ron...across from the Ice Plant (north side Corner) a stand opens around 2-3:00pm SOMETIMES!!!
The only other place is Suki's...outside under restaurant. If Suki's is still there. If not it is Punta Lobos 12:00pm to 2:00pm...
Oh...you could sit outside at Shutup Franks and the fish man comes by sometimes...

Thanks Al and Russ for replying.... I have found a couple of places ..... as to the Pangueros, you can meet them when they come in at the beach in the early afternoon.

There is a truck that visits the Secret Garden on Wednesday around noon with a variety of fish , camoroons etc.

The most solid place I have found is the house of the president of the Pangaro Assoc. It is in town on Colegio Miltaur on the right just before it reaches Ocampo. this is the route the busses take thru town. Next to "Publico Magico" restaurant is a very blue house. Go thru the gate on the right side and shout Holla ! a very nice man will meet you and show you the freshest fish... Yesterday I bought a kilo of "Yellow Fin" fresh fillets for sixty pesos, and a half kilo of camaroon for sixty pesos..... he also had a cooler filled with lobster.

Have not tried the stand that Al suggested although it has been recommended by others also.
