Thanks Russ. Since you asked........ I have been fiddling with Flickr. It is so much fun it should be illegal. I have posted about 400 photos now, if you really want to waste some time....

when it comes down to good old remote baja it don't get any better than PSFO!

i'll never forget Genaro's , R.I.P., response when i asked once if i could bring down a trailer and lease a spot on the beach....he gave me a look of incredulity and exclaimed, "what?? and have this place become like Gonzaga??!!"
that said it all.

keep em coming Ken.

Great Photos!

Jeeze, the stories you must have to go with your journeys. If your talent with a pen matches your artistry with a camera you'd do well. Even a coffee table edition would do well. Thanks Ken I really enjoyed your album.

Artistic talent seems to run in the family. Ken's daughter, Coleen, is an accomplished writer as well. Ken published one of her essays about baja on the old amigos board. It's really worth reading if you can find a copy somewhere.

Or perhaps Ken might post it or create a link here, por favor?

Want you to know, Ken, that with that photo you've definitely amped up my eagerness to be visiting San Francisquito this spring. Thank for sharing.

That's a great photo of the caleta. I've seen a picture of yours before, that I believe was taken at San Francisquito, with Ocotillo in the foreground and the beach in the background. A great photo - would you mind posting it again?

Thanks, Ken.

It was fun rereading it again after about 3 or so years.

She has a very direct and honest way of writing without trying to be too fancy with words. She writes what she wants to say, no more and no less. It's also very easy to read, as though written effortlessly.

My background is scientific and I tend to read a lot of papers by my peers. And they are so different. It must be wonderful to just be able to sit down and be able to express yourself so simply and yet perfectly. I think complex writing just diminishes the whole thing. I'll bet she kept a diary early on in life. I hope Alex has the gift (and isn't too influenced by my way). Now if I can just pry his little fingers off that XBOX.

Thanks to you Igor. I too have a scientific/engineering background and somehow Coleen managed to overcome that. So there is hope for Alex  I wish I could write like Coleen does. ++Ken++

PS She DID keep a diary as a kid.
