Are You Driving To Todos Santos ?

If you are coming to Todos Santos would you be willing to pick up a box in San Diego ?

I have eight boxes at my sister's house in San Diego (well actually La Mesa).... each is 18" x 18" x 16" and weighs between 35 and 45 pounds (I think) .... if you could pick up one or two on your way down to Todos Santos it would be a great favor to me .... They contain : an assortment of books, kitchen stuff (pots and pans, blender etc.) , clothes, sheets, towels, and coats etc. There is no contraband (not even batteries  ) and everything is used.

Please U2U me for contact information and more detail if you think you could help with this. I would consider it a "Large" and would prepare a beautiful dinner for you in grateful thanks.

Thankyou,

CaboRon

Ron,
Please take this as a friendly observation. In the 15 years I lived there it was always a hassle to bring even my own stuff down there. The main reason was available space. The next biggest problem was Aduanas and the retenes with a constant suspicion that I might have contraband or be carrying items that were for resale. In the end I will now be giving away everything I brought down as I move back to San Diego. Along the way I found it was cheaper to buy what I really needed down there and sell my excess baggage in SD rather than store it. Plan to bring down anything you really want to keep on subsequent trips. Feng Shui!

Liveincabo,
There are reasons quality of life issues involved here. And, I have many reasons why I want these things ... many personel items you cannot buy in BCS, including things such as the afgans knitted by my mom and aunt.
What I am asking for here is help getting this stuff down here, I will not be driving that trip again. So, I am looking for help with this, not advice on why I don't need my personel belongings.
Thanks anyway,

CaboRon
