Ron, where do you get only 20 years...My daughter was 19 years, but that was 20 years ago...today they are sticking home until 30...ask my buddy Steve. After getting through 4 years of college they still move in and out all the time...one finally got married at 33... and $33K to boot:lol::lol:

Probably because after the MBAs got through trimming the labor budjets and the benefits.... none of these kids can get a job that pays enough for the rent.... and they have whittled union membership down to seven or eight per cent of the work force.

Wow!!! We must have just been lucky.

When each of our 4 kids turned about 10 we told them that they had to be out of the house by the time they were 19----and they knew we meant it. All left right after highschool, 3 went to College paying their own way for the most part, and 1 became a computer guru (no college)---------all became successful, own their own homes, and are doing great. None had ANY problem finding jobs, either right after highschool, or more recently, but of course they were willing to work at anything available to get thru school, etc..

I always felt that this was what America was all about-----you know, the 'American dream', and all that?

I sure feel lucky after hearing your stories.
