Loreto's Sunday Market

It all started not long ago with a single produce stand that set up Saturdays at Colonia Miramar. It moved to the arroyo, and recently changed to Sundays.

Great market. I love those type in Baja. I also stop at almost every roadside stand when I travel in the US. Thanks for the pics.

Wow! These photos have gotten a lot of interest from folks here in Punta Chivato. Could you give us some directions?

it's in the arroya just south of the main part of town, before you hit Colonia Zaragoza. okay, simplified instructions for out of towners. follow the main drag in to town til you come to the cross street that runs by the plaza, the bank, Cafe Ole, Tecate store on right, taxis lined up on the right.. turn right, south, past Dali's/Damiana Inn. keep driving till you hit the arroya past the auditorium. you can't miss it. every Sunday. get there as early in the morning as you can.

reality\'s never been of much use out here...

I also love those markets and the next best thing to being there is seeing the pictures.

Some of my favorite pictures are just everyday life---thanks for sharing these, I really enjoyed them.

I also love those markets - there's always a bit of excitement that perhaps today I'll find just what I'm looking for, even if I do not know I need it until I find it.;D:biggrin:

Yours looks like an outstanding market, Don. Thank you for sharing it with us.
