Robby Gordon to Dodge in NASCAR

Gordon on Friday aligned his race team with Gillet Evernham Motorsports in a partnership that will give the owner/driver the technical, manufacturing and marketing support his single-car operation has lacked.

As part of the agreement, Gorden will field Dodges instead of Fords this season. Gorden will also use GEM-produced engines.

Gorden took a financial hit when the Dakar Rally was canceled last month due to terrorist threat. He estimated his losses at $4.5 million and was furious organizers didn't run at least a portion of the 16 day race. Gorden built two cars for the event, and invested more than $1 million into each of them.

Robby should have stayed aligned with Roush.
Gillet Evernham was dogmeat all last year, and Ray Evernham is stepping aside to take an even more passive role.
If Kasey Kahne can't win in their cars then Robby won't even crash as hard due to lack of speed (which might not be all bad)

I concur with this assessment. Even though I'm only a distant observer these days, I find myself questioning this decision and/or direction with the program. Not my program, $$$ or decision to make however.
