TJ Bodyshops...

...Thinking of giving the old Bronco a new TJ Paint Job on the way down to Mulege next week...

Does anyone have a 'favorite' body shop they've used that does half way decent painting....did you bring your own paint, or used their's?

How about upholstery...need to get the seats done too? Any recommendations? Don't need any 50's Tuck and Roll...just some stock looking stuff.

Thanks....

According to my clock...anytime is \'BAJA TIME\' & as Jimmy Buffett says,

I don't know that TJ can beat the prices of Earl Shieb or One Day in the states. Either one would be my choice. I think they're both in Chula Vista.

Now...Good tuck and roll upholstery is another thing.

I had some upholstery done some years ago. I did not shop price but went from shop looking for a shop who would have it completed in 2 hours. Found one, left off the car, with about 6 or 8 Cokes in a ice chest, which I was told to do by a friend.

Returned the upholstery was perfect! The cokes were gone..not a trace.

I was very pleased with the service and the quality of materials and workmanship. The car remained in the family for about five more years with out any upholstery problems...can't ask for any thing more
