I think the economy in Rosarito is going to be crushed this spring. Not only do the 18-21 year old drinking crowd (spring break) need birth certificates or passports this year, they have to convince thier parents it's safe to party in a city where the Army just took all the guns away from the police.

I am surpirsed that the FBI gave a number of kidnappings (the reported ones at least). Maybe we'll start getting better information.

Since when do 18 to 21 year olds need (or want) permission to go to Mexico? They can tattoo and pierce virtually every part of their bodies but they need mommy's permission to go to Rosarito and get trashed? Interesting theory.

Perhaps there is a method to the madness. True no more 18 to 21 hear olds getting trashed. The town is quiet. Better for us boomers that can afford a nice condo in a beach town with great restaurants. They just started to enforce the no overnight camping ordinance next to our condo. In the long term I'd submit us boomers can add more to the economy of Rosarito then the teeny boppers. As long as we feel safe.
