Birds seen on our recent trip

We stayed in the Palapa room at Ignacio Springs B&B, which is right on the water. In the palms above our room were at least 7 Night Herons. I believe that they were all juveniles because of their coloring.
Is this little guy cute or what

This is kinda fuzzy but you can see 3 or 4 of them

When they left the palms at sunset, they made the most unusual sound. It sounded like a dog saying yuck, yuck. It was my new bird song of the trip. Now I can identify them by their call.

There is an osprey nest next to the empty lot between Los Caracoles(stopped in to meet Serenita but she was in Ensenada:no:) and Malarrimo. I always walk the dogs here and almost always get a shot of an osprey. It was in the same parking lot that a few years back an osprey dropped a fish almost on my head.

Judy, the hawk on the cardon is probably a Red Tail (if I'm seeing his back)

Hook, how can you be so sure without seeing the backside? this could be any usual species of young bird, ie. chick!
