I've been enjoying all the recently posted pictures on this forum.
Here are some portraits of festival vendors.

amir, You did a great job of capturing people at their work! Wish you could down load them to a site and we could see a lot more of the 450 pics you
shot. But in the mean time could you post a few more? - Thanks - Russ

Your portraits are lovely and do capture the essence of these people
But I am puzzled by the "art" in the photos. Were there any of the local artists able to show their work?

Only citizens can show work. At the weekend there were some artists present, but only one or two local ones. A big change from 4 years ago.

Wanted to kiss the lady in the first pic. How can you NOT love these people!
Great color!!!!!!! You nailed it.

There was art, there was crafts, there was performing arts like folkloric dance and music, food, etc, in fact, a festival, a fair. Local artists here
many have their own galleries and show there. At the Plaza there many artists and crafters from San Jose, La Paz, and the mainland. There is a mixture
of original art from the traditional to the exotic in all kinds of medium. Many vendors are nomads and travel the regular itineraries from fair to
fair.
I couldn't get enough of this thing, so today I went back with a 2 GIG memory card and took 750 more pictures! Have to research that multiple photo
posting thing...
Everybody is invited to post your fair vendor's portraits.
Who'll be the next?
