Does anyone know where this church is located?
Took a tour while on a cruise and can't remember where this was.

No, it's not San Ignacio -
Here is San Ignacio -
plus, a cruise would not get someone to San Ignacio.

Yes it is San Javier. The construction of the Church of San Francisco Javier began in 1744 by Father Miguel del Barco and was finished in 1759. And
thats your history lesson for the day. Beautiful place.

It was a tour out of Ensenada in 1999 I think. The other post showing the other church was on the same tour. I have written somewhere one of the
towns was Copella.
Does that mean anything?

-----but you DO
get "tours" there often, as advertised in Sunset Mag and the AutoClub magazine.
(I DID miss the reference to "cruize" tho, your right)

That was a good history lesson, but the church isn't San Javier.
