Hacienda Inn Todos Santos
Does anyone know anything about this 14 room place on the north end of town? Is it a real hotel or not? I can't find any info. on it - no website or
anything.

You mean the hotel going up in Las Tunas near the 2nd bocana? I think it's still under construction and Miguel Ochoa is putting it up.

I thought it was near El Sol II, in Las Brisas, the building with the multiple domes. But I don't see it advertised, and I haven't spoken to anyone
who has stayed there. Sorry.

We stayed there years ago....probably 5.
It was originally built as a get away for silicon valley execs. I seem to remember that they bought shares, kinda like a time share deal.
The rooms are lovely with great tile work, platform beds, sitting areas....all in all very nice
I have never seen them advertise.

Yes, it's the building with the multiple domes. I believe it's been open for 15 years or so, but I've never noticed it til this last visit. I've
heard a lot of things about it - money laundering, etc, but wondered what the truth is. I can't find out anything - no website, no answer to my
emails, the restaurant is only open occasionally - so thought someone on Baja Nomad would know.

I did try once (several years ago, before living here) to make a reservation, but no-one appeared interested!
There are many other, easier options, I suspect...

I have stayed there. Nice rooms. kind of shockingly comfortable and great to be honest. I went when everything else was sold out in town and they
gave me a tiny little room for a great price and I couldn't complain. I will admit there was an odd vibe about the place, but nothing I could put my
finger on - everything was fine, comfy, mellow, and very well appointed.
