Short term insurance for USA.

Have to make a short trip into California in the next couple of weeks. Need liability insurance. Do I remember correctly about an outfit in Ensenada writing short term insurance for such instances ? Need it for about one week and my AAA only writes for a minimum of 3 months.

If you take the waterfront street at the very end just at the turn there is a mini mall drive into there, there is an insurance co. been using for years. This is in Ensenada and very convenient.

Thanks Wiley,
but could you be a little more specific.
I know there's a Pemex close to the last left turn, where you turn towards the ocean. Where is that center in relation to that ? Can't recall in my mind ever seeing anything of the kind you describe.
Anybody else able to help ?
What do most of you folks who live there and travel occasionally into California, do for insurance ? Chance it ?

Ed....
At the gas station you mentioned, look in a north direction across the street. There's a business with a large sign that says something about US insurance. No idea what exactly they offer but, I'll look into options for your trip and let you know. In the meantime, get a big box of Pacifico and relax.
