Can someone please tell me approx. how many hours it takes to drive from el rosario to mulege?

I would seriously consider a stop in San Ingacio.... from their to the coast is one of the most difficult parts of the drive.

Similer to the drive from El Rosario to Catavina.

8-10 hours but depends on your habits.

It takes about 8 hours, I believe.
Yes, the mountain grade down the volcano Tres Virgenes to the Sea of Cortez/Santa Rosalia is steep, but just gear down and go slow. The view from the top is spectacular!
