A question. RE: The County campground near Tecate.
I know that several of you are familiar with this campground. Can you tell me more about it? We intend to pitch a couple of pup-tents, and cross in
the morning. Is is self pay? Do they lock a gate. Any security issues?

It is the Potrero County Park.
There are nice sites with lot's of shade trees.
The bathrooms are clean enough with nice hot water showers.
They do not lock the gate and offer self pay envelopes at the entry.
Never a security issue that I know of - it's out in the hill country.
#22 is a nice site with a huge grass area beneath the trees and lot's of room to adjacent sites.

Yeah, and the best part it is a neighbor of the Blackwater para-military training center, so if things get dull just drop over next door and pop off a
few rounds...

Lots of lists with three men. Different with a couple.
