Virtual party today
BMG here - NOT LinguineLinguine
As some of you may have noticed, Ana and I are having a little get-together with some fellow Nomads here in La Paz this afternoon. Thought it might be
fun to have them make some posts while here. To keep it simple and to keep from having to keep logging in and out, all the posts will be made using
Ana's handle here on the forum. We'll just have each Nomad declare who they are when posting.
Let's see if this works.

Don't worry we'll give her all the credit. Stop posting and have some fun. Get
away from that darn keyboard!
Wait a sec, maybe we can tie this in to that drinking post. Try some "virtual Baja drunkeness"! Might be fun. Cuidadoso!
DON\'T SQUINT! Give yer eyes a break!

Everybody who isn't here, will be sorry. Steve made 60 jalapenos filled with cheese and wraped in bacon on the BBQ. Totally awsome!!!!
Alltogether really nice here right now.

Since it's for Dennis, curious minds (not in baja at the time) want to know...
Sounds like you guys are having way too much fun and good food.

BMG again - having a fun time but I've eaten too much and Ana just brought out the expresso brownies.
Oh well, I'll suck it up. Time for round two.

Happy party, you guys.
I thought I'd joined you before but I feel deleted.
Have a good time.
Sorry I upset you, Carol. I thought we were beyond that.

Well, the party was fun. Not too sure about the virtual party. We enjoyed meeting some of the Nomads here in the La Paz area. Not everyone showed up
but was a good number to sit around and all chat until 7:30 or so.
Had plenty of food even though we called it a Happy Hour.
Seems bacon wrapped hot dogs are a big hit with many Nomads. No bacon wrapped hot dogs but we did have bacon wrapped jalapeños stuffed with cream
cheese. Seemed to be a big hit with most.
Wiley liked them so much he suggested putting some more bacon wrapped items on the grill. Turns out his bacon wrapped Pacifico idea isn't really such
a great idea.
Ana finished it with her espresso brownies.
Thanks to all who came. We really enjoyed meeting you all.
I think the world is run by C- students.

That borders on Pacifico abuse.

That Pacifico wrapped with bacon was done especially for you.

Turns out that not everything is improved by wrapping it in bacon and grilling it. Pacifico is one of those things.
Ana's espresso brownies are pretty good, but I complained that she left out the chocolate chips this time and she needs to keep practicing until she
gets it right.
Shari - the jalapeños were not hot at all (unless you ask legs). I took out all the seeds and veins.
We'll have to do it again sometime. It's great putting some faces to the posting Nomads and getting to know them personally.
I think the world is run by C- students.

I have to hijack this thread to ask.
Where did you find that blue oil cloth?

Funny story on the oil cloth!
I actually bought it in Obregon several years ago. Friday we ran ALL over La Paz trying to find some to cover two long tables and couldn't find any
anywhere. I know there has to be some here! Tried Parisianna, who say they will have some in 7 - 10 days. Bonanza fabricas, telamundo (think thats
the name), Sorianna and Vanessa's.
As soon as I find some I will let you know and if you find it first, please let me know!!!
