Abre Ojos

Headed toward Abre Ojos - does anyone know the water temp down there? Do I need a full suit this time of year? Any "nomad insider" advice for spots not to miss along the coast?

Right. Maybe I'll camp out at the blow hole. But hows the water temp down south? Like past Punta Eugenia?

Water temps:

http://www.terrafin.com/sstview/free.htm

Click on "Central Baja"

Abreojos is currently (March 10, 2008 - 12:31PM) 62......Brrrr.

Or play around this site, if you want temps in the past: NOAA Coast Watch

I find these setting work best...but others may work as well....

View results as: As Images
Region: West Coast
Product: SST
Sensor: Imager
Satellite: GOES-11 [...or sometimes, another one, if GOES-11 has no results...]
Dates [whatever you want...go too far back and the data is purged, though]

Click on an image and you can get a more detailed view.
