Punta Chivato barbed wire fence
The property owner of most of Punta Chivatos' open area has gone fence crazy. First he/they put a fence around the dump. That I could almost
understand because of blowing plastic bags and some dumping garbage anywhere in a large area. He had it all cleaned up and looking nice again. but
when the barbed wire went on top I was a bit confused. The pic below shows the sign/bill board that designates the beginning of his area and
the end of the parcel I live on. It runs from the hill side above the road to the federal zone along my property line.

Now it's really ugly that is a given. But I'm at a loss for the reasoning behind it and why the need for barbed wire. The boarder fence doesn't have
barbed wire. The reason I read, was it was threatening in appearance. So, to all visitors and homeowners, Welcome to Punta Chivato.

Last Photo. There has always been a distinction between Punta Chivato and Shell Beach. Now these people have made the point with their ugly
threatening fence. Besides the fence along my parcel and around the dump he's but some fencing near the airport and then more at the estuary to the
south. Some day I'd like to hear to real reasoning behind this bright idea. Not just all the rumors circulating around here.

fences
The fence in the picture is just north of the old La Pinta Hotel in Loreto. Other fences are rising. The large property at the other end of La Pinta
is also fenced and is being used to store Singlar (read Escalera Nautica) vehicles and equipment. Fences precede development as a rule. There is a
huge fence of the same type at K28 or so at the entrance of San Bruno. It is to isolate the beach development to be called Paradise. Rest assured,
none of these fences between the people and their own beaches is going to present any obstacle to platinum VISA.
