Best Price for Satillo Tile in Mexicalli/San Felipe

I need some 12x12 satillo tile and some bull nose satillo for my steps. I can get sealed satillo in US for 1.50 per sq foot.
If anyone has any suggestions of great deals in Mexicali or SF please let me know

Gracias

Don't have an answer to your specific question. But, when we built in San Luis, AZ in 2002, I searched all the tile places on the other side in SLRC, Son. I found I got a better price on Saltillo tile (unsealed) at the Home Depot in Yuma. Not only that but they delivered and replaced all broken ones, which would not have happened cross border.

All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

Our guy went to a factory (or wherever they make them) in Tecate and got a pickup load for 95 cents per tile.

On the west side of Tecate, there is stretch of road where they make/sell saltillos (multiple vendors) -- could probably shop there (just drive by and shop the sites). Probably a similar area in Mexicalli that you could find with some searching.
When I did my saltillo, they were quite cheap at Home Depot in US and came with imprinted character (occasional dog paw prints on tiles). Edges are are fragile and don't transport well, so the boxed tiles from Home Depot may be your best bet.

I bought 2 truck loads of tiles in Tecate, in the area that was mentioned. they came in the boxes, same as home depot. they also replaced any bad tiles that we found. in 2002 they were $.69 in Tecate, and $1.19 at home depot
