La Concha, La Paz
Booked at the La Concha next month with my family, how kid friendly is the hotel? What are some good activities for the kids, besides the pool, they
are 16, 6, and 4. Will have a car so moving around is not a problem. I have stopped and eaten in La Paz on the way to East Cape before but have never
stayed there before.

I think you will like La Concha. We have stayed there (in the condos and the hotel) with kids many times and were always treated well. Nice pool,
nice beach, decent restaurant. It's a ways out of town but that shouldn't matter with a car, although it's just as easy to take a cab into town. As
I suggested in another thread, spend a day snorkeling and looking around at Hotel Punta Pescadero, a few hours drive to the south.

We've been going to La Concha for the last ten years. It's a great place for kids, my daughter loves it there. Plan on spending a day if not part of
a day at the beach at Balandra, it's a MUST, but bring your own towels/beach gear and pack lunch, as there are no services there. Drive to Tecolote
for a breakfast or lunch and spend part of the day on the beach there, and have the chocolate clams. Make arrangements with the Cortez Club to hire a
boat for the day and do some snorkeling around Espiritu Santos. You'll have a great time!

We just returned from a stay at La Concha on 7/12. It is definitely a good choice for families, with a wading section in the pool for young kids and
a good sized area for the older set. Also, it's the only resort on the beach. We never tried the restaurant, as there are so many good places in
town.
