Ex Pat Voting

As I understand it an ex-pat can vote in national elections.

My question is : Living in Todos Santos, how do I register and also how do I receive my ballot (there is NO mail delivery in TS)

Do I have to go to the US Consuls office in Cabo San Lucas to register ?

Ron,
Don't have to go to Consul.
There is a registration form, you register in whatever was your last state of legal residence, but you can only vote in the federal election. You will vote via absentee ballot. You can go to something like vote.gov which tells you everything you need to know and the dates. It also has links to ex-pat websites that are helpful and provide useful information; voting and more.
