Fill'er up...With Pacifico
Where can I get my empties refilled? I'll be going to Ensenada for a short time on Friday morning then headed to San Felipe via Mex 3. I know there's
a refilling place south of Ensenada but I won't be going that far south.
Any recommendations ?? Thanks !!!

You can exchange your depositos for full cases at any tienda that sells Pacifico/Corona AFTER 10 am. (as long as they have enough on hand. Depends on
how many cases you intend on exchanging.) Sometimes we order in advance at our local spot.

Don't know about Ensenada, but in San Felipe there are numerous places, 160-165 Pesos per case of 24. That was the price about a month and a half ago.

Wal-Mart in Ensenada has the cheapest prices on Pacifico non-return (small) bottles, about 34 pesos for a 6-pack

$10.99 for a 12 pack at Stater Bros. I don't like the Pacifico or Corona in the USA . It just tastes different !!

$5.00 to $6.50 in Nevada for a six-pack, with single bottles going from $2.50 to $3.50 at a bar or restaurant.
Tried a "blind" taste test with some friends. Poured 2 glasses of Pacifico, one from Mexico, one purchased in the states. Everyone commented on the
difference in taste, and picked the Mexico Pacifico as the better tasting.

I do not buy non-return bottles!!!!!!!!!!!
Best thing Mexico did was put a good deposit on their glass. Now did you ever wonder why no aluminum in the trash. What we need is a deposit on
plastic!!

Plastic, yes, yes, yes, and maybe also disposable diapers. ---on second thought, those should just be outlawed.

Don, when was the last time you were down in Baja and traded empty's?
The bottles are now full 12 oz. and there are 24 to a case but your boxes/bottles will be upgraded upon purchase.
Ya, the biggest problem is the time beer and alcohol can be purchased in the morning when traveling time is a factor.
There is a new gas station by the Rockodile sign 10 miles north of San Felipe that carries Pacifico and has a good selection of alcohol at fair
prices. Of course that is also about 15 miles south of the Highway 3 and 5 split if your heading to Ensenada from there...
Have a great trip...

I found a Sub Agencia in Valle T. 165 pesos for a case....
BW: thanks. I filled up at that new pemex you mentioned. It's the first one I've been to that you prepay inside. Kind of a pain. I like the at the
pump attendants.

I pretty much only buy caguamas when I'm in Mexico. The downtown Ensenada Calimax has Pacifico caguamas at 13.50 pesos. That's the cheapest I've ever
found. I'd definitely be interested in hearing about cheaper prices. Even if it was another brand.

I agree with the going inside thing, but my wife usually handles that while I walk the dog and get ready to start pumping gas. Well stocked store,
clean bathrooms...
How was your trip? Where did you go?
