Brings back a memory of around ten years back when the Army took the Oasis hotel on the north end of Rosarito. It belongs to the A.F. cartel. The problem was resolved and the hotel returned with the explaination that it actually belonged to their mother. Now...how could the army make such a mistake?:o:biggrin::o:biggrin:

Their mother must be very proud to have her sons give her a hotel, to provide for her old age.

Yes, I'm sure she's delighted that her sons have made good in the import/export business.

It's Sunday morning, a time when we're all expected to believe almost anything so, tell us you're kidding.

Oasis

Oasis was falling down before the demo guys got there.

That stretch of beach would be much more profitable with something like a bunch of condos on it. I wonder if The Donald is looking for a better locations, a little further downstream from the muerde effluent.

Isn't it still there with a new name..The Continental or something like that?
It never opened to the public and was used as a private resort for AF and their extended work force, cops etc. Big private partys with trailers full of hoars was the only thing that ever happened there and it was no secret. Reportedly, there is resort property all around Mexico just like this that never has a vacancy and never has a paying guest. Laundered money.

The la Jolla condos are a snakepit. Units in foreclosure for sale on Craig's list for years now. Mayor Torres lead "assistant" (Torres claimed he didn't know him at all) kidnapped from there as well and no news ever posted about his release, death or replacement.

The Oasis is indeed coming down, little by little. The past few years I've only seen RV's parked there. I had heard it was owned by the AFO at one point as well. There is no shame in Mexico- so yes, his mother is still proud of her little narco-terrorist.
